A ‘behind the idea’ film is one of our favourite types of productions, and You See Media has made quite a few for our friends at Saatchi & Saatchi and Direct Line among others. The films we make are used as supporting films to an advertising campaign, helping explain the technology behind a vision. We are granted access to all areas to shoot and talk to the key people involved in each project and utilise this information to create an informed, high quality film.
FLEET LIGHTS
This was one of Direct Line's most ambitious projects to plan for a future when customers no longer have to worry about safety when out at night. The film captured the adaptation of drone technology to allow multiple drone crafts to swarm together until they created a consumer controllable, autonomous light source. The film worked in conjunction with a proof-of-concept advert that was made by Saatchi & Saatchi.
FLEET LIGHTS: SEARCH AND RESCUE
This film continued to explore how the autonomous swarm technology could be further developed to put drones to use at sea in order to help lifeboat search and rescue. We worked with the client directly to create a standalone film which not only had the production values of an advert, but also a realistic lost at sea reconstruction.
THE SMART CROSSING
Working in conjunction with Saatchi & Saatchi, our film documented how camera-tracking technology worked and its potential for real world use. The film was designed to substantiate the technology and showed an autonomous LED road, which enabled more efficient car use and safer pedestrian crossing.
